Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this website, whatever their abilities or assistive technology. This statement explains the standard we aim for and how to tell us when we fall short.
Last updated 29 May 2026.
Our commitment
Accessibility is part of how we judge our own work, so we hold this website to the same standard. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the recognised standard for accessible websites in the UK.
What we have done
We have built the site with accessibility in mind. In particular, we aim to:
- maintain clear, readable text with sufficient colour contrast;
- make every interactive element reachable and operable with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator;
- use a single, logical heading structure on each page;
- provide descriptive text for images and meaningful link text;
- respect your system preference for reduced motion, so animations are minimised if you have asked your device to limit them;
- build pages that adapt to different screen sizes and zoom levels.
Known limitations
We aim to conform to WCAG 2.2 AA, but we cannot guarantee that every page meets every criterion at all times, for example where third-party content or an embedded document is outside our direct control. We treat any gap as a defect to fix. If you find a part of the site that is hard to use, please tell us using the details below.
How to report a problem
If you come across an accessibility barrier on this site, or you need information from it in a different format, please email us at hamada@governanceai.io. It helps if you can tell us:
- the web address (URL) of the page;
- what the problem was and what you were trying to do;
- the browser and any assistive technology you were using.
We will acknowledge your message, look into the issue and let you know what we will do about it.
Enforcement
If you contact us about an accessibility problem and you are not happy with our response, you can raise it with the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC), which is responsible for enforcing accessibility requirements in the UK.
